The State of New Jersey’s Division of Consumer Affairs has measures in place to prevent retailers from attempting to unlawfully profit from the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This includes making false or misleading statements regarding the efficacy or effectiveness of any product to protect against or the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Anyone who believes that businesses have unreasonably inflated their prices due to the COVID-19 virus, is encouraged to file a complaint with the State of New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs online at www.NJConsumerAffairs.gov or call 973-504-6240.
